Razers are the destroyers of all technology. They would have mankind living back in the middle ages. They burn books and libraries. They will use explosives to the extent of destroying something they cannot tear down with their hands.
A neo barbaric anti technology cult. The middle ages is a technological level and one that can be sophisticated in someways, the printing press and the blast furnace come to mind. Doesn't elaborate on how the Razers would come by explosives, as the means to make that is a late middle ages tech level, and pretty sophisticated even for black powder.
I run them as a collective band of neo stone age hunter gatherers that is against technology stemming from social taboos and pseudo religion forgotten to time. Following the wild herds of buffs and cattle or living on other game. The raiding comes from a need for things the Razers cannot make; like iron or steel tools, and cloth. Also from a need to feed themselves as winter is long and harsh for hunter gatherers.
