Encounter charts

Has anyone created more detailed encounter charts for the 4edition? The one provided in the book is fine for general encounters but would something with a bit more detail. Maybe create my own....

I prefer to create my own, allows me more flexibility to match with my game and my players.

You will be more pleased by any you make..... especially tailored to your location and the skills or abilities your Team has.

Make a list of the encounters possible in the area your players are in, then assign a percentage chance they will meet a group..

So step one...... Rolling hills, temperate forests.. dirt roads and paths...

50% chance in good weather and day time.

15% chance in poor weather.

5% chance at night.

then using 1-100% determine among the groups how likely a given encounter type will be met.

So you roll if they meet anyone at all, then you to see who they met if that happens.

You can even have a breakdown of each encounter group having various sized parties and what they are equipped with.

Then you put that information onto 4x10 cards so your ready and don't have to roll up some random PCs.
