Blood types

Here's a chart that may be of use in a T2K campaign (even if you don't use this level of detail, it is nice color):

Not entirely. I would keep you alive at all cost. After all you can donate to everyone and I would keep you as living blood reserve (no problem of conservation):D.

The bad news is that you'd spend the rest of your life as the living blood bank of some warlord.

The good news is that, as his golden goose, you'd be living better than most of his serfs.

;)

Thanks guys! Things are looking up already :)

Actualy when I was in I made note of who had my blood type, since I was the man in charge of keeping stick lists still have a couple <names, ranks, serial numbers, weapons and numbers and blood types of the embarked troops on the other helos> so if a helo went down, a list of who was on, identifying info and blood type would be available.

In my company there were three others with 0-, not good out of about 150, what was worse,

#1 a thug, theif, idiot and boot licker to the 1st Sgt.
#2 a major idiot and headcase who went for a phsyc eval every 6 months who called himself "marry" after falling down and feigning amnesia <for several months>
#3The company gunny....

Yikes, my options were slim on getting a refill :)

Now if only you could convince said warlord that optimal blood production requires the daily attentions of one or more nubile beauties, you'd be set.

I have B-, which only 15% of the population has, but that's much better than my sister's AB-, which (IIRC) only 2% of the population has. About 7 years ago when she had some back surgery done, the surgeon in charge of her operation had her start donating blood to herself 3 months prior, and when she was in her early-20s and chronically short on cash, she could actually sell her blood and get some decent money for it.

If you had a sick warlord like that, he might be bathing in their blood...

A few centuries too late.... someone already did it... and it was a woman!!

Quote:

Countess Elizabeth Báthory (Báthory Erzsébet in Hungarian, Alžbeta Bátoriová in Slovak, Alžběta Báthoryová in Czech, Elżbieta Batory in Polish, August 7, 1560 – August 21, 1614) was a countess from the renowned Báthory family. She is possibly the most prolific female serial killer in history and is remembered as the "Blood Countess" and as the "Bloody Lady of Čachtice", after the castle near TrenčÃ*n in the then Kingdom of Hungary, today's Slovakia, where she spent most of her adult life.

After her husband's death, she and four collaborators were accused of torturing and killing hundreds of girls and young women, with one witness attributing to them over 600 victims, though the number for which she was convicted was 80.[1] In 1610, she was imprisoned in the Csejte Castle, where she remained bricked in a set of rooms until her death four years later.

The case has led to legendary accounts of the Countess bathing in the blood of virgins in order to retain her youth and subsequently also to comparisons with Vlad III the Impaler of Wallachia, on whom the fictional Count Dracula is partly based, and to modern nicknames of the Blood Countess and Countess Dracula.

For those who care, the Countess appeared in the second animated Hellboy movie, Blood and Iron.
