TM-57 Anti-tank mine
Grenade Class: A
Weight: 9.5kg
Effective Range: 0 m (emplaced, pressure activated 200 to 300 kg weight to activate) (Tilt fuze 21 kg of force to activate)
Fuse Delay: 0 seconds
Burst Radius: 5m
DPW: 12,123 (7 kg TNT)
Anti-Armor Class:A
Additional Comments:This is the standard blast, pressure activated anti armor mine of the Warsaw Pact; the blast will destroy the roadwheels, track links, and suspension of main battle tanks, immobilizing them. High probability of piercing the hull floor on MBTs. For lightly armored vehicles, strong probability of a catastrophic kill, with a dead crew, and unrecoverable hull.

Easy to detect due to large size and strong metallic signature (mine detector).

The TM-57 is almost identical to the older TM-46, but has a larger charge and improved fuzing. No booby-trap well is present since the mine is designed for mechanical laying. The standard fuze is the delay-armed MVZ-57 (pressure plate), but the MVSh-57 tilt-rod fuze can be used when the mine is laid by hand.
