Default Easter Egg...

Just reading "Allegheny Uprising" and something I read is nagging at me, the marauder leader, 'White Death' has his base in a mall in Monroeville. That set something off in my memory and with a little checking I found out what the connection was. George A. Romero used a mall in Monroeville for his movie "Dawn of the Dead". Further reading shows that the mall that the GDW folks were referring to was on Route 22.

I'm wondering if they did this deliberately, what do others think?

that mall is famous... believe it or now, the mall actually gives a regular tour for dawn of the dead fans. if you go to their website they have the times listed when they are doing the movie tour... where you get to see all the locations from the movie.

One of my friends who found ot that me and my so-called 'wife' liked zombie movies (because zombie movies is what got us together, the company she worked with needed an artist to do artwork for their books... and their books were a Zombie RPG) he was going to arrange for our honeymoon to be a trip up to that mall for the tour. He had planned on arranging a hotel for four days as well as the tour. But the so-called 'wife' really pissed him off by accusing him of trying to break us up when he didn't show up for our wedding. When he couldn't get there because of a really nasty storm that morning that caused a treelimb to crash through his windshield.
