Special Attributes: A somewhat distorted knowledge of medicine.

Description: Emdees are the descendants or pupils of medical personnel who survived the war. They are highly respected among the Townspeople who will extend every effort to protect them. They can occasionally be found on the road, sometimes in the company of Truckers or Mailmen.

This one is really an encounter the PD desperately needs to have pre-written ahead of time, even going so far as having different skill levels and resources based on Tech level. Surely an Emdee from the KFS region must be better and have better resources than one from say a wilderness setting. So in preparation of the needs of your Team your Emdee can be Tech level F and desperately try to cure the plague with herbs, or a Tech Level A Doctor with an understanding of Biochemistry and knowledge of distillation processes for the creation of medicines.

So write them up as one NPC but with different histories and equipment and skills based upon the Teams situation.
