I live in the most isolated State capital in the world. Perth, Western Australia. Between me and any other State capital is thousands of kilometers of desert and to the west there is just ocean until you hit Madagascar.

I might make a map for everyone's location at some point. I am actually considering building a voluntary demographics study to help me with stuff like usage rates, location, browser, age, etc. Plus some of our current polls.

It is probably about 6 weeks down the line. (edit. boy did i miss that estimate rofl 1st of the year at the earliest)

You two can not live in proximity, no good will ever come of it and I fear for the world! I think I'll initiate a UN resolution to take the matter up.

Riverside, California, about 50 miles outside of Los Angeles. Put it this way, open up "The City of the Angles" campaign and I am along the march route out of the mountains as you head into the city.

Or for you military buffs, March Air Base is 10 miles away, or the Weapons Lab of Corona/Norco is about 10 minutes away just across the freeway.

Or I spend half my time in Long Beach, the nearest marina to California State University Long Beach, or for military minded folks, near the former Long Beach Naval Station or current Los Alamitos Joint Forces Center or Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station.

Stockholm, Sweden.

Actually; back when I was in the army, standing guard while being out on an exercise, I was looking at some fairly newly built apartment buildings and thought "I wonder who wants to live here" as I thought it was a little bit off. Been living there for 5 years now, and loving the "a little bit off" while still being central Stockholm

Since someone dug this post up from the depths, I'll add myself here as well. Current city of residence is Oulu, Finland. I was born in the capital, Helsinki. This winter, we had only -32 centigrades and even then it didn't last longer than a week. Weather is sure warming up.

I'm sitting at the office 6 blocks south of the US Capitol in Washington.
My house is 3/4 mile outside the Beltway in Maryland, north of the city. (Outside the heavy direct blast damage zone from a 1 MT burst over the capitol, well within radiation, firestorm and general bad things range).

Jason, on the other hand, has an apartment in the sweet spot between the White House and the Capitol. Vapor...

Don't ya get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing per the timeline you're just so much radioactive dust? But it also does my heart good knowing the bad guys have so much invested in taking me out whereever I may be
