Default T2K - UCC Question

What was USNORTHCOM in the T2K timeline? My google is weak today I guess...

I need the UCC or similar command that would be responsible for the US/Northern Hemisphere security and defense type role.

Thank you!

I think it was created in 2002 so it did not exist in its present form in T2K.

Yeah thats my issue, the T2K timeline.

I found that the US 5th Army/US Army North was responsible for the defence of the continental US back in the day but that is just an Army force right? What about something that included the other services?

FORSCOM seems more readiness oriented to ALL the Armed Services from what I can find, were they responsible for the defence of the US back in the day?

I might just go with USNorthCom since its pretty consistent with the other existing UCC commands at the time.

NORAD is only for Aerospace Defence and ICBM Warning. The Commander of U.S. Northern Command is concurrently Commander of the U.S.-Canadian North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). The two are co-located at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Man, researching this really is tough! As best as I can tell, there wasn't a unified command. It would have been a combination of ACC, LANTCOM, USSOUTHCOM (for the Caribbean), and possibly USSOCOM (depending on if they inherited the role from STRAC).
