I've toyed with the idea of putting vehicles with a large amounts of variants (M113, HMMWV, AK47 and M16) on the same page.

I think where the chassis is the same (M113, M577, etc) that's probably a good idea. With vehicles having to be stripped for replacement parts, it's nice to know the suspension components from a Gepard for example can be used on a Leopard.
Of course that opens another can of worms doesn't it - AA vehicles such as the Gepard aren't exactly in the same category as a Leopard MBT...

Seems that may require a major reworking of your categorisation methods.

Perhaps a note or two in the descriptions might be better at this point? I'm sure you really don't want to rework the whole site.

For what it is worth, I've been fiddling about doing just that for my own use, might clean it up, finish it, and forward it on.

I'm really liking the new organisation in radios and comms!
Makes it a LOT easier to find nation specific gear.

Here's one I did a while back, but forgot to post here:

16 Jun 11
Turkish Artillery Support Vehicles has been rewritten and updated. US Artillery Support Vehicles has been rewritten and greatly updated.

The Izhmash AK-9 was added to Russian Assault Rifles.

The Ukrainian Assault Rifles page has been added, with the RPC Fort Vepr.

Italian Semiauto Shotguns D-Z has been replaced with Italian Semiauto Shotguns F-Z. The page is essentially the same.

The KBP ADS was added to the Russian Special Purpose Firearms page.

The Chiappa Mfour-22 has been added to the International Semiauto Sporting Rifles page.

The FN40GL has been added to the Belgian Grenade Launchers page.

In Best Assault Rifles That Never Were, the entry for the Baryshev/LCZ B-10 has has info added and stats corrected; the entry for the Interdaynamic MKS/MKR has had the MKS Carbine added; and the Korobov TKB-022 has been added.

The Best Sporting Rifles That Never Were link now points to the correct page.

The Best Handguns That Never Were page has the Webley Mars added to it.

It should be noted, or even obvious, that the Twilight 2000 stats on the site are in a state of enourmous flux. This is because I am updating basically everything little by little, correcting stats and updating the information, as well as adding on new stuff and new versions of old stuff. Therefore, newer stats do not necessarily gibe with older stuff. In general, Tanks, APCs, and Artillery Support Vehicles have been fully updated (as much as possible with my current knowledge), and there is a peppering of fixes for other things throughout the site. I'm sorry for the confusion and possible irritation, but it can't be helped.
