Default A little help on something...

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a little help on something. I am looking for as many reference pictures of NATO & Warsaw Pact uniforms that I can get. I have some of the pictures from what looks like a uniform recognition book. But they aren't that great, and if anyone can help me find more pictures like that please point me in the direction of them...

A couple of the more popular torrent sites have almost the entire collection of Osprey books that cover the cold war currently up. A few months ago, I got over a dozen issues - just for Twilight purposes. Those are probably one of the best sources you'll ever find. Most issues have colored templates for displaying nothing but the uniforms.

Where can one find these sites of which you speak? I have a bunch of Osprey books but I foolishly unloaded most of my Cold War ones in the mid-'90s and most of them are now out of print and only available "new" at outrageous prices.

I use Vuze... and all the Osprey collections i've found so far are only upto WWII and shortly there after. Do you have any good links to the torrent files for the Warsaw Pact books?

Here is a link to a forum on military photos. It will take you some time to get around that thread so as I think there are something like 62 pages.

Hmm... the torrents don't seem to be seeding any of the issues anymore. However, I do have some on rapidshare. I have few more in addition to these in case you are looking for more (or something specific), just let me know. Each issue here should have a few pages of templates on just their uniforms alone... including labels and details.

That sounds awesome. Maybe it can be the cover for one of the DC groups version 1.5 releases. That would really feel like a rebirth of Version 1.

Anything less than absolute perfection will result in an appointment with a firing squad!

My v2.2 yellow book has won its retirement with honors… Probably this summer, the wonderful color, ultra-fast laser printer in the office will show some unusual behavior… A new cover art will be great. The strange gang of the cover of the yellow book was, by far, its weakest spot.
