Alexandra is a movie by Alexandre Sokourov. It's not entirely relevant to our topic but you might find some interest into it. Basically, it's the story of a russian grand mother visiting her grand son (a captain in the Russian Army) stationed somewhere in Tchechnya (may be Grozny).
It is very Russian : very slow, very little speaking..., just very russian.
However, I found it very interesting because it depicts people leaving under conditions that are similar to that of a T2K setting. It is also depicting the life in a russian military camp (very inspiring). It also showed an interesting element we had been discussing on the forum already: rag tag armored train that are used by the Russians in Tchechnya (partial views of it). You also have nice views of the well known BTR-70 APC.
I advise you to watch it if you can find it.
