JHart 06-16-2008, 10:54 PM I saw it on another board.
It must contain fantastic luck. A glass object surviving for almost 2000 years!
For D&D
"I have one hitpoint left, armed with a rusty dagger, in a dark cavern, fighting an adult dragon and I need a crit. Time for THE DIE!"
For T2K
"I'm staring down the barrel of a T-80, crewed by my worst enemies, and I'm armed with a 30 year old RPG with no sight. Time for the DIE!"

Targan 06-16-2008, 11:42 PM I wonder if the RPG industry knew that the Romans used 20 sided dice of this kind or whether the D20 was reinvented from scratch?

TiggerCCW UK 06-17-2008, 04:26 AM Is the D20 OGL the start of the rise of a new Roman Empire?

Targan 06-18-2008, 12:47 AM Is the D20 OGL the start of the rise of a new Roman Empire?Actually it is the opposite - proof positive that human evolution is going backwards and within a few generations we will be a species of shambling, drooling cretins. Not my offspring though. Any of them start playing anything D20 and I'll snuff them myself.
