I'm working on an interview of a Morrow project Team leader

Does anyone have any ideas on what sort of questions would be asked?

Well, I think the locals would like to know what the world was like before "The Day," "The Time of Fire" or whatever they would call the war or collapse. I'm sure there will be legends and stories of things like rich cities, prosperous countries and so on even to the point of having men walk on the Moon. I thin k they would be interested in culture and such like music and so on.

"Can I buy your woman?"

Matt, I've seen your interview posted on your site - looks good btw - but I'd like to add a couple of questions (and the motivations behind them) that I use to 'stymie' Players from time to time.

For me, the most obvious question that the locals as should be - "What do you get out of this?". This is post-Ooops after all. Life is hard; sometimes cruel; and there is an entire encounter list of not nice people out there...and suddenly, along comes this bunch of men and women, offering the local residents health, education, toilet paper, running hot water, etc...and all for nothing? To my way of thinking (and thus, to that of my NPCs), that sort of offer is "Too True to Be Good" so to speak. My locals are ALWYS looking for the "Angle" of the players, and I have to say, most players do NOT communicate well WHY they want to give things/do things for the locals.

Cheers!
John

If everything works as should have, I.E. Morrow comes out 5-7 years after The Day, my first question as a survivor:

"Where the hell have you been? We needed you LONG before now."

If it works as per TM 1-1... The Day plus 150 years....

"You sure have shiny toys, there mister. What did you say they were?"

Some Joker will always ask "Where do you get those wonderful toys?"

Some example questions from our current campaign:

"How come your truck is so quiet?"

"Pra-jek? What's that word, 'pra-jek'?"

"Why, what's wrong with our dog-dog? It tastes good!"

"How much for the (item)?"

"Where did you guys come from?"

"Are you guys allied with (a group)?"

"Who's your leader?"

"Are you available for paying work?"

"Can you help my (friends or relatives), they're awful sick."

"Can you come to my town, we need your help!"

Wanna sell some of that gear?
Anymore of you's people around?
Exactly where you people from again, and you got directions back there?
Wanna buy some moonshine? First drinks free...

Yup, I firmly believe that most people will try to get what they can from a team, by hook or crook.
