Behave yourself. Or don't, whichever seems most appropriate.

It got up to 29C (86F) here yesterday - a vertiable heatwave for a summers day.
Winter averages a minimum overnight of around 0C and daytime max of 12-13C (about 54F).
Of course I haven't always lived here. For the first 21 years summer was up around the 40-46C (100-115F) range. Waaaaaay too hot!

Do us a favor, and see if the old bunkers from the days of the Missile Crisis are still up near the beach; it's said that Varadero Beach was where 2nd MarDiv was supposed to come ashore if the Russians hadn't backed down on 30 Oct '62. Enjoy the sun in the meantime. Personally, though, I'll take St. Thomas if offered a Caribbean vacation.

Been to all the islands while Cruising ... and I have seen some of the old bunkers along the beaches while heading to tour Havana...
Just going for the rest and to escape the Christmas mad rush...

Happy winter from Kitchener, Ontario!
While in Varadero, try not to fall off your motor scooter and die, as my brother almost did three years ago.

Look, Wolf, you're looking at this whole thing the wrong way!
Not screw winter, screw in winter -- the other warm body next to you will keep you more comfy...;)

Nice day in Sydney? Sounds good. Its 32 degrees C in Perth today, not a cloud in the sky. Normal for this time of year. I might hit the beach once the sea breeze comes in.

Ironically the north of Scotland seems to be one of the better places to be in Britain at the minute....we've only had a couple of snow showers, nothing major...I think worst we've had over the weekend was about one inch.
Forecast for 3C here today (36F or thereabouts)

2 feet of snow on the ground here. It's pretty much shut down DC. Which, considering how everyone drives here? That's a good thing.

DC's definitely one of the most insane places to drive I've ever been -- but nothing can beat Seoul, Korea for insane driving!
