Jason Weiser 04-23-2004, 01:10 PM Well, I kinda lifted some ideas from "Escape from Kalisz", but there wasn't a boat and marauding Japanese Zeros involved. Other than than, subscribe to Pyramid and find OUT!

TR 04-24-2004, 12:58 PM Congrats there Jason... when your rich and famous don't forget the little folk over here.

TiggerCCW UK 04-26-2004, 07:20 AM Nice one!! This might make me sound weird and slow, but what is pyramid? What game system is the scenario for?

Antenna 04-29-2004, 11:15 AM Way to go Jason, must find a copy of that issue to tell people I have chatted with this guy who wrote this article ;)

Ed the Coastie 05-01-2004, 12:41 PM I loved "Last Ticket off Bataan"! It was well-written and I already have plans to adapt it for a future game.
Are you going to be submitting anything else in the near future?
Hope springs eternal...maybe I will dust off a couple of things that I never had the nerve to actually submit...

Jason Weiser 05-01-2004, 02:30 PM Ed,
Drop me a line and let me know how it goes. I am going to do something from traveller next, probably an insertion by Imperial Marine Commandos gone VERY wrong.

ReHerakhte 05-02-2004, 12:43 AM Tigger,
Pyramid is the in house gaming magazine for Steve Jackson Games, it used to be a paper product but is now exclusively online and only avialable by subscription. It deals largely with GURPS but also has some support for D20 D&D, D20 Modern and has the usual reviews etc. Subscriptions are for a year and you can grab as much out of the issues as you like. Because everything is held in an archive, it's not necessary to be subscribed every year, you could leave it for a few years and resubscribe of desired.
Web address for Steve Jackson Games is
http://www.sjgames.com/
Go to the section entitled 'Online Zines', it's one of only two!
Cheers,
Kevin
