chico20854 02-10-2006, 01:58 PM I've adapted the T2k timeline ( located at http://www.d20.demon.nl/t2k/t2ktime.html ) into an excel file and broken the events down by region. It helps to make sense of what happened when (but also points out some weaknesses in the canon timeline).

It will be posted on my website:

(since I can't attach excel files in this forum)
(edit kato13 you can on this forum :) )

Matt Wiser 02-10-2006, 05:29 PM Chico, could you do a PDF version? Not everyone has excel.

chico20854 02-11-2006, 01:14 PM I've put up an auto convert via the adobe website. It may be less than useful, since the excel file is a large matrix, with dates along the left side and the regions along the top. The PDF version is 120 pages, which would probably cover most of my floor if printed out and arranged.

Sorry!

I know grae has found a excel reader that may be freeware.

pmulcahy 02-11-2006, 01:22 PM I believe OpenOffice can read .xls files. It's free, but it's also a BIG download, unfortunately.

shrike6 02-11-2006, 02:17 PM Went ahead and made a pdf out of Chico's timeline. It's at the link below, this one includes all the sections unlike the one Chico has on his website.

chico20854 02-11-2006, 06:29 PM Thanks Shrike!

I can't get the link to yours to work, or mine either! (It works fine when it's on my hard drive, all the other files work, why not this one?) Arghh! Isn't technology great? (Having just lost 3 hours of typing Soviet naval orbats due to a crash! Why isn't autosave included by default in MS Office???)

Sorry again folks...

shrike6 02-11-2006, 07:47 PM Let's see if this works

Stilleto69 02-13-2006, 12:29 AM Hey guys,

It works fine on my machine. Thanks for the link Shrike. Chico you have the same question my wife does on auto save. Many times I her hear yelling, "Why can't this thing save by itself!!!" LOL.

chico20854 02-13-2006, 07:20 AM Thanks for the improved version Shrike. If you don't mind I'll replace the version on my site with yours.

I also saw Microsoft has a free excel reader, which allows viewing and printing. It's a 10 MB download.

thefusilier 02-14-2006, 10:55 PM Nice. I did almost the same thing. I took that timeline and added every date I could find in the Vehicle Guides and UK Sourcebook, etc. Your idea of breaking it into areas is a awesome idea. I think I will fix mine like this.
