I saw that but wasnt sure what the standard US towed version was there...
I found the wiki entry for a M114..but thats doesnt seem like the current US standard.
Is it the M119 and M198?

For version one, US Army Vehicle Guide p. 33:
"FIREARMS
Howitzers
M202 105mm How (towed): A lightweight 105mm howitzer,
requiring 8 crew. It may be towed by any vehicle over 2 tons
in size. Wt: 2 tons Price: $50,000 (S/R)
155mm How: A large caliber howitzer which may be mounted
on the M109A2 or on a towed cariage (M198). In the towed
version, it requires a crew of 11. It may be towed by
any vehicle over 5 tons in size. Wf: 6.8 tons Price:
$75,000 (S/R)"
The M-114 was still standard in many National Guard formations in the 1990s. The M-102 (I think the M202 above is a typo) was in the process of being replaced by the US-version of the British Light Gun (the Brits was the L-118, the US the L-119). Those are detailed in the Survivor's Guide to the UK, on the page titled "Additions to the Equipment List." The Second World War-era M-101 was also still in use with the National Guard, creating a situation with three "standard" 105mm howitzers. At least the ammo was compatible...

I must have one missing but if you find a good website on artillery, I'll be more than interested. People love tanks, APCs, soft skinned vehicles but artillery is largely ignored.:(
