Brother in Arms 04-23-2008, 04:38 PM Hey everyone
I have been looking into rare sniper rifles lately and I discovered an interesting one used by finland. It was called the M85 and was made in 1984-85 in finland from old Mosin Nagant actions and where highly modified/customized by adding new heavy barrels and over sized target stocks with raised cheek pieces. I managed to find a few pictures of a U.S. soldier posing with one in Kosovo in the 90's.
I noticed that paul didn't have one listed on his firearms page unless I looked in the wrong place.
Anyway its basickly a super pimped Mosin nagant bolt action rifle. I have an older one with an excellent bore that has been bubarized 1915 Newengland westinghouse (made in the USA believe it or not) but I think it would be a great donor something like this.

Lt_Kamikaze 04-23-2008, 06:24 PM Fired one of those during my service. It packed a nice punch compared to the normal RK62 (7,62x39). Nice and stable too. Other than that is difficult to say, because I've never fired anything else than those and BB guns. :)
