Hey,
What's the make and model of the motorcycles the US army uses in the Twilight time frame? I looked on Paul's site, but couldn't find anything.
Thanks

I know this does not answer the question asked but for those who are interested Australian Army cavalry, mech infantry, commandoes and the SAS were using Honda XR 250s and (less often) XR 600s during the 1990s.
The link below seems to point to the Kawasaki KLR 250-D8

The Marines in the 80s used a Suzuki scout bike that was silenced, they were very quiet, and they rode pretty well too, we found a room full of them when I spent a time at the motorpool, so a few of us played on those and some of the old jeeps they had around.
Now, they are working on a diesel powered bike that is made here in Cali, I am waiting on them to catch up with the order and make a civi version. They are a bit beefier than a regular bike.

The Brits and the US had been working on a diesel powered motorcycle since 1993 with the M1030M1 entering service in about 2001 - USMC ordered 440 of them. I'm not a biker, but being able to do 140mpg (120mpg US) and not resting my wedding tackle on 3 gallons of liquid explosive during a shooting situation rather appeals to me.
(Riders report here (http://www.motorbikestoday.com/features/Articles/diesel_bikes.htm))
You might be able to sneak a few into your game world on the pretext of accelerated military developments.

I've been keeping track of the development of that diesel military bike for years, since I read an article about it in one of my motorcycle mags in the late 90s. Great idea.
Jeez its good to see you posting here O'Borg. Makes me glad. :)
