Well my time is spent with my tan an blue heeler pup my son gave me to 'keep me occupied', which she does quite well. And he did a great job of training her before he gave her to me, or I would have 'refused' the offer.

Then, as I said, I am not idle, as I am buddy-sitting, though Paul still has not been released from the nursing home. Government paperwork you know... but hopefully soooooooooon.. the 6 weeks has turned into nearly 4 months.

And my daughter and three kids (7, 6, 2) showed up 'for the summer'. Our RV that was quite roomy and comfortable for Rhon and I got REAL small real quick.

And I weaned myself from the Facebook addiction and have gotten back into several games, including the one I run. Funny that one was solicited by players to get going so THEY could get out of the Facebook syndrome. LOL

And I read, sleep, play in the pool, clean the house, cook the meals, do the laundry, (wife works so why not?) did I mention sleep, read and surf the web? Oh and I sleep.. live for the afternoon naps until the pup wakes me up.. "Hey dad is it time to go out and play yet? PLEASE!!!" As she sits and whines and barks until I respond by either getting up and taking her or telling her to 'GO back to sleep... " Did I mention this routine starts at 0600 and lasts until 2200? You can see WHY I need a nap LOL

An Aussie dog! Nice choice. Blue heelers are fantastic.

She's a black and tan cross. Not the first heeler I've had. First one I picked, or rather I was picked, out of two litters a friend had. Imagine two bitches coming from the barn, then over a dozen 8-week old butterballs following.. I was checking them all out when I feel something chewing my elbow. Yep, that was Nipper... an excellent cattle dog, and watch dog... and the ONLY person he ever nipped, other than me, was my buddy. Everything he showed up, Nip would head for the barn.. or so he thought, as he circled around and came up and nipped him on the ass. Got so he would sit in the vehicle until I came out and corraled the dog. LOL One thing he was NOT good at was dodging trucks pulling trailers.. alas RIP Nip.

On the retirement/job scene.. Paul (BiL) has come out of the rehab home Friday so I go to 'work' Monday/tomorrow. Buddy-sit for ten hours a day Mon-Fri.. surfing the web, watching movies, (actually found a RUGBY channel.. now to get Sis to subscribe, to which I told her I would pay the subscription fees), and walking dogs... cooking meals (hell a guys gotta eat), but I told 'em I'm NOT the house cleaner though I will clean up our messes, which is saying something.
