Bargain of the week!

I happened to wander into a charity shop today and found a copy of 'Trinity's Child' for 25p :-) Given that 'By Dawns Early Light' is one of my favourite films of all time I'm looking forward to reading it :-) I'll post up my thoughts when I've finished it :-)

Finished the novel earlier today. Would have got through it a lot faster but I've had a very busy week. Great read, and I'm very impressed by how close they kept the film to the plot of the novel. Very well written and I really enjoyed it. Highly recommended to anyone who hasn't read it, and likewise I highly recommend the film to any of you who haven't seen it.

I thought it was an interesting coincidence that it mentions in the novel that the president had been watching Martin Landau in 'Mission:Impossible' near the start of the book, and that Martin Landau played the president in the film version.

I noticed that as well when I read the book after seeing the movie. In this case, it was generally an easy adaptation from book to film.
