I am bumping this thread. The game is up, the background posted, and I am ready to go. I am just waiting on a few last minute details from characters.
I am also still accepting characters for this game.
Basicaly the campaign will consists of specialy trained Americans and Canadians conducting squad and platoon sized raids on Russians assets in Alaska, the Alutean Islands and Siberia.
So if anyone wants to play or lurk, follow the link, and get started.

Ei Jester.
I had not tell you anything about your previous offer. I'm afraid that the games I'm refeering right now take up too much time. But I will become a lurker. This theme of post-playing awakes my curiosity. Thanks.

No problem Marc, if the game does seem like something you would like to join at some point, I have a few ideas already built in to allow you or anyone else to join mid campaign. So lurk all you wish.

I'm a bit like Marc but I'll be looking closely at your campaign. You talked enough about it so i feel concerned:) . I really like what I have seen so far. I really don't have time now. sob! :(

I understand, like I said feel free to look, and I will have plenty of places where new blood can jump into the campaign, this will be used to replace losses as well as to augment the team mid mission or bring in new players. As a GM I think it is imperitive that you have a device that allows you to be able to bring in new players easily rather than have someone eager to play <especialy a new player to the game system> waiting and waiting becoming bored and frusterated and often just walking off with a distaste for the game, and usualy the GM.
Any how, I shall leave the posts in the open forum so people can read them and see where things are going. This also works as advertising, so if the game is good, they may become interested and wish to join.

I'll send that wise saying to a friend of mine. He is a great GM but when he runs a game you quickly get to play nintendo. So far we have never ended a game with him as he always killed the all of us before the end. Hopefully is running AD&D games and doesn't have a nuke to throw at his player face. You'll only have to fight a 100.000 demon army with the 4 of you people;) . I had a dwarf who broke all wolrd records running away from that place, and my dwarf was the sole survivor of the group.:D
