Just found this site and it lists what weapons are used in what movies. I found it interesting and it seems to have some pretty good pictures of most weapons.

I'll second that. Good site with excellent info. Now I finally find out what the Governator was using in Raw Deal-turns out he was using Heckler-and-Koch, but not an MP-5, but an HK-94 modified to full auto. For some reason TV cops seem to prefer SIG-Sauers, I noticed. And the SG-44 is back in production for collectors (but banned from entry into the U.S.).

I looked through several of the sources and in many cases it is the prop company which provided the weapon so it seems like it would be pretty accurate. That plus really good images made it an instant bookmark.
The Battlestar Galactica chapter has very good photos of transformed weapons. Very useful to set a Traveller campaign and show your players the kind of slug weapons they are using.

Cool site!
I always thought that odd machine pistol John Clark used in Clear and Present Danger was a pure prop made from an M16 receiver, but turns out its a real weapon.

Yes, they have had several versions of pistol based on the M16 reciever.

Bumping this thread.
Brother in Arms mentioned looking for good weapon images. This site has some of the best images I have seen as they are for the most part promotional images from the weapon prop providers. Also since it is a wiki site the copyright status of said images is kinda nebulous.
I figured people could use the images here for the "Favorite US weapons" thread.
