Had a power outage and I think we were down for 2-3 hours.

Don't expect any further issues.

The forum is run on its own dedicated server but the costs are minimal and a majority of them get rolled into my business expenses.

I was given the servers in trade a while back and we piggyback on my home/business dsl.

Wow! I did not know that the forum need a dedicated server to keep it going.

It really does not need its own server, processor wise we could probably run 50-100 forums of this size on this box. I just had a few servers lying around I get 5 public IP addresses with my business DSL (grandfathered in from a long time ago) so I put it on its own box.
