Hey guys,

I've gotten the bug again to try and run some T2k, and while I realize it's an RPG, vehicles are (at least!) half the fun, yeah? So I'm trying to track down a few easy 1/72 (which is about 25mm, closer to 20mm but it's not a great huge deal) kits of various NATO and Warsaw Pact vehicles.

I need them on the cheap, and I'm not a strict military modeler or anything so detail and kit quality isn't a huge issue at all.

I have (had) a papercraft 1/72 scale LAV-25 from paper tiger armaments but they seem to be gone and my file got baleeted so I don't have that one any more :(

Any pointers, anyone?

I've bought a couple kits and one prebuilt BTR80 from here: http://www.greatmodels.com/

And this site doesn't sell but has lots of good reviews of plastic soldiers, plus a ton of links to dealers:

Revell do a range of 1:72 and 1:76 vehicles...here's a link to a UK model shop that stocks them - will give you an idea of the range of stuff they do.

They also do figures...mostly WW2 but some modern (especially German)

Not 100% sure, but I think they might be distributed by Monogram in North America?

Wonderland is a great shop :) When we were in Edinburgh a few years back there was very nearly a divorce because of the amount of time and money I spent in there :) The Revell figures are pretty good too, although some of them are just reboxed versions of the older Esci/Ertl figures.

Caesar miniatures are pretty good too, and they do some ineresting figure collections - African militia etc.

Wonderland is a great shop :)

I'd second that...it was my local model shop for a while and I spent many a happy hour in it (I actually had to walk past it twice a day walking to and from work)...

I would have been permanently late for work and late home :)
