I might make a map for everyone's location at some point. I am actually considering building a voluntary demographics study to help me with stuff like usage rates, location, browser, age, etc. Plus some of our current polls.
It is probably about 6 weeks down the line. (edit. boy did i miss that estimate rofl 1st of the year at the earliest)

Riverside, California, about 50 miles outside of Los Angeles. Put it this way, open up "The City of the Angles" campaign and I am along the march route out of the mountains as you head into the city.
Or for you military buffs, March Air Base is 10 miles away, or the Weapons Lab of Corona/Norco is about 10 minutes away just across the freeway.
Or I spend half my time in Long Beach, the nearest marina to California State University Long Beach, or for military minded folks, near the former Long Beach Naval Station or current Los Alamitos Joint Forces Center or Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station.

Just south of Harrisburg PA here: one vile nest of political vipers and bottom-feeders that may truly have deserved Russia's missed opportunity of applying the cleansing fire of "our friend, Mr. Atom".;)
Out of my previous residence's window I could see the coolingtowers of Three Mile Island.
For those of you in Houston/Corpus Christi, Wiki shows that in 1990 USS Texas had completed a full multi-million $ refurbishment back "to her 1945 condtion", which I take to mean her machinery as well as her hull integrity. Oil-fired battleship cruising the Gulf, anyone?
That's actually docked just outside Houston, in Baytown. If you're using Google or whatever satellite map program, follow Interstate 10 east out of Houston until you hit the San Jacinto River. Follow the river South from I-10. it's just a mile or so from I-10.

Back in the Huntville TX area.. If I look around I see prison after prison.. count at least TWELVE within 15 mile radius.. Huntville.. Prison Capitol of Texas Republic and probably the world if you were to guess at number of facilites.. There are FIVE in the city limits.. don't let the population number on the city limits sign fool you like the did Home Depot.. ca 15-20 THOUSAND of that is inmates. (of course another 20K is Correction Officers or employed by TDCJ and another 10K are students at Sam Houston State

Anchorage, Alaska gateway to the real Alaska. When I look out my windows I either see snow capped mountains, the trailer park across the street, or the fenceline for the state nut house.

Hi all!
Just found this site, and a thought occurred to me:
So many people playing a game which takes place exactly where I live :)
For those that didn't get it: Sov 127th CD is based here in the Twilight War.

Welcome to the forum SirBlase.
It will be interesting to hear your views of the game because you're someone who actually lives in the area of Poland where the game takes place.

And did you rent the house next to Sarah Palin?
(To be fair -- and I can't believe I'm agreeing with Palin on anything -- I do in fact think that author leased that house to spy on Palin, and that it was dirty pool.)

No I am not. I am a civilian. The U.S. military had their shot at me in 1972. They decided I was not needed. Therefore I skipped the political coffee club in SE Asia. (Tongue firmly in cheek. Nothing but respect for ALL Vets)
Mike, where are you in Fayetteville?

I'm currently living about an Hour's commute from Concord and I'm going to be in the area for the next two months. It also seems like I'm in need of a new face to face group for that time as My buttons have been pushed by someone in my current group.

Welcome, great to have you! I'm in Vancouver BC, which I think is in my profile. Of the people lumped into North America, I wonder how many people are in the USA or Canada (or even Mexico, and the French/Danish territories)?

On the other hand Greece is facing economic difficulties even greater than the US isn't it?
Mind you, every time I turn on the TV it seems some country or other is in trouble.

Newport, Oregon...about halfway up the Oregon coast and around 30 miles south of the 45th Parallel.
Damn, only 60 miles inland from you. McMinnville.
However, I grew up in Normal, IL, and knew 4 of the T2k playtesters. All were frequent visitors to Adventureland Hobby store in Bloomington, IL. I was one of the first to buy this game when it first came out.

I've been to Adventureland Hobby Store, in January of 1991; I bought some cool stuff, including a lead HO-scale HMMWV, the only HMMWV figure I'd seen up to that time and for many years afterward.

Actually; back when I was in the army, standing guard while being out on an exercise, I was looking at some fairly newly built apartment buildings and thought "I wonder who wants to live here" as I thought it was a little bit off. Been living there for 5 years now, and loving the "a little bit off" while still being central Stockholm :D

South Joisey, the 51st State? My dear wife came from near the ocean, so I can relate.
First, you gotta kick out all the shoobies and the Tourons (tourist + moron =touron). AFTER you fleece them for every vacation penny they have. ;)

Up here in the "notch" (between OH and NY) also known as the "North Shore" [of PA] (called that because Philly is on the South Shore [aka the Atlantic Ocean]), we just fleece them and then send them into the "PA Wilds" (yes this is a real thing, you can Google it...) of the Allegheny National Forest to be eaten by bears! :)
