Another technology article expanding the details on the last few Soviet tanks and a few new variants.

One thing I'd mention is VIRSS.

The Russians where keen on such systems and developed them quite effectively. The T80 Bars had an effective VIRSS and they also began developing CIWS for their tanks during the mid 90's.
