I've just stumbled across a while bunch of excellent russian military information here:

Not sure if everyone else is familiar with it but it has some nice pdfs.

R O S O B O R O N E X P O R T is the Russian "Soviet" arms industry and these are the catalogs from an arms expo. Weapons was always the most effective export for the Soviets to bring back cash for trades.

If only they had put this much effort into cars, tractors, and stereos.
