YOu should add, the Anonymous Pack Dogs.

Anonymous, in regards to the hackers Anonymous, a bunch of reckless kids without regards to any real sense of responsibility as they go off on their reckless "crusades" drunk with delusions of power, and by Pack Dogs, referring to the pack dog mentality they have toward it appears anyone even remotely associated with anything they find reason to "disagree" with.

(Apologies if this sounds any way like a rant, but I had my credit card account hacked by this group who then went on a reckless spending binge under the delusion they were aiding "the people").

Of course anything post 1997 such as ipad or RIMM doesn't fit as it simply wouldn't have existed.

The Nauvoo Legion

The Original Legion (1839 - 1845): The Nauvoo Legion was a militia originally organized by the Latter Day Saints to defend the city of Nauvoo, Illinois. To curry political favor with the ambiguously-political Saints, the Illinois state legislature granted Nauvoo a liberal city charter that gave the Nauvoo Legion extraordinary independence. Led by Joseph Smith, Jr., founder of the Latter Day Saint movement and mayor of Nauvoo, the Legion quickly became a formidable concentration of military power in the American West. In 1844, after a controversy stemming from the Nauvoo city council's suppression of a Nauvoo newspaper critical of Smith and his church's policies, Smith mobilized the Legion and declared martial law. Arrested for treason, Smith was assassinated by a mob before the Legion could come to his aid. Soon thereafter, the Nauvoo charter was revoked, and the Nauvoo Legion lost its official sanction as an arm of the Illinois militia.

The 2nd Legion (1852 - 1887): Some legionnaires served in the 500-man Mormon Battalion for the U.S. government in 1846 as part of its campaign against Mexico. However, the Nauvoo Legion itself resurfaced to prominence soon after Brigham Young led the first band of Mormons to Utah, then called Deseret, in 1847. Under territorial law, the Nauvoo Legion became the territorial militia in 1852 although it retained its name. This “new” Legion was first used in 1849 conflicts during conflicts with Native Americans in Utah County. The Legion was used again in the so-called "Utah War" against Federal troops entering Utah in the "Utah Expedition" from 1857-1858. After this conflict, the Federal government appointed Utah's territorial governor, and the Nauvoo Legion was allowed to exist supposedly at the command of the governor. During the American Civil War, two units of the reorganized Nauvoo Legion were gainfully employed by the United States to protect western mail and telegraph lines from attack. The final use of the Legion was in Utah's Black Hawk War 1865-1868. In 1870 the Utah Territorial governor, J. Wilson Shaffer forced the Legion inactive unless he ordered otherwise. The Nauvoo Legion never gathered again, and the 1887 Edmunds-Tucker Act permanently disbanded it. In 1894, in anticipation of statehood, the Utah National Guard was organized as Utah's official state militia.

The 4th Legion (2000 – Present): The Twilight War or World War III was a catastrophe for US, with huge civilian and military casualties from nuclear strikes and the collapse of civil order nation-wide. Theses actions resulted in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to reestablish the Nauvoo Legion, by employing former State and Army National Guards Mormons. The Legion is allowed to exist supposedly at the command of the governor. However, it widely known the Legion is more responsive to Latter-day Saint leaders than appointed government officials. Recently the people of Utah have begun to conduct transactions using gold and silver coins, including the payment of taxes, which has resulted in the Legion being used to guard the state’s hoard of gold and silver coins.

Organization: Currently the legion is composed of four cohorts (regiments), each commanded by a colonel. These cohorts are self-contained units with two battalions of infantry, a light infantry battalion, a troop of cavalry, and a battery of artillery(2 x M116 75mm pack howitzer ).

• 1 Cohort
• “Young” Infantry Battalion

The first six M116 75mm pack howitzers came from the Utah Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 148th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Battalion, 145th Field Artillery Regiment and the 2nd Battalion, 222nd Field Artillery Regiment ceremonial units, with the remaining two coming from two Utah ski resorts; that were used for avalanche control.

Washington State Guard (Bill Gates' Microsoft Army)

The Washington State Guard (WSG) traces its history back to 1855 when the Washington Territorial legislature enacted the first law creating the organized militia. After Washington became a state it created its state militia in 1890. The Washington State Militia served in the Philippines during the Spanish American War of 1898–1899. The Washington State Militia was exclusively under state control until 1903 when the Washington National Guard was formed and placed under both federal and state control.

During World War I the exclusively state controlled Washington State Guard was reborn. The Third Infantry Regiment consisting of 16 companies, a medical detachment, and a machine gun company was formed in principal cities throughout Washington. After World War I the WSG was disbanded.

On 1 November 1940, over a year before the U.S. entered World War II, the WSG was again re-established with an Infantry Brigade and two Regiments and was used to guard vital installations and to patrol the coast lines. As an invasion of the U.S. mainland became less apparent, the role shifted to disaster assistance and civil defense. In 1947 the WSG was again disbanded.

On 19 May 1960 Governor Albert Rosellini once more re-established the WSG to augment the Washington National Guard as an additional internal security force for the State and to replace the Washington National Guard when the latter is inducted into active federal service.

At the start of the Twilight War the Washington State Guard consists of two brigades. The First Infantry Brigade was located at the Seattle Armoury, the Second Infantry Brigade was located in Spokane, and the WSG HQ was located at Camp Murray in Tacoma, Washington. State Guard soldiers drill in a non-pay status one day a month and two days during the summer. Shortly after the start Governor Gary Locke appealed to Starbucks, Microsoft, Costco, Nordstrom, Nintendo of America and Weyerhaeuser to help restructure the WSG, by pledging resources, time, and money to the effort. Almost all of Corporations declined, except for the Microsoft Corporation, who pledged resources and money to the cause.

In its first act, the Microsoft Corporation secured the services of former US Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld as the state’s new Adjutant General. Next, Microsoft help the state create Committee for State Security and Defence; by employing CACI International Inc. and Titan Corporation to function as advisors on security and defence issues. Although given no official authority over other WSG, the Committee for State Security and Defence could review and make recommendations on WSG issues, Washington State Patrol issues, and other potential security and defence issues. The establishment of the Committee created the position of "Chairman of Security and Defence", which also had the title of Deputy Assistant to the Governor.

Following the Soviet attack on Alaska the WSG mobilized to protect the state of Washington against “possible” Soviet Invasion and the Washington State Patrol was placed under its Command; as well as most County and Municipal Police Departments, and was reorganized along military lines. In 2000 the WSG supported Bill Gates when he assumed governorship of state, after Governor Locke disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

Organization:

Committee for State Security and Defence: Since the Soviet attack on Alaska, the Committee for State Security and Defence has merged with the Adjutant General Office and the Attorneys General’s Office and in addition to the Washington State Police, it also commands the WSG. The Committee for State Security and Defence used maintain Bill Gates Iron grip on the state and further his vision of forming Cascadia .

• Washington State Police: The Washington State Police (WSP) is the new state police agency for the State of Washington. The State Patrol has law enforcement authority throughout the State of Washington and has replace all County and Municipal Police Departments.

Special Operational Combat Force (SOCF)

The Special Operational Combat Force (SOCF), or better known by the abbreviation as SOCF was established as to assist, support and augment US Army. They provide logistical, administration, medical, transportation, security, & riot control assistance. The SOCF was established before US Nuclear Attack on 31 August 1999. The original volunteers were recruited from the five boroughs of New York: Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island and were a diverse bunch of men consisting police officers, stock brokers, tradesmen, writers, professors, athletes, and military veterans. Men who had served in the US Military during the 1980’s or served in the Vietnam War were recruited to serve as higher ranking NCO or officers. In this regard they possessed the knowledge and experience to lead and train the men well. Bernard Kerik, former commissioner of the New York City Department of Corrections, was appointed the position of Colonel with Donald Trump serving as Lieutenant-Colonel. In the chaotic aftermath of nuclear strikes, Colonel Bernard Kerik was killed during serving with No. 8 Company. This left Trump as Colonel of the SOCF.

Organization: Each SOCF company has company headquarters composed of three platoons, A, B and C. Each platoon consists of three sections. Specific vocations within them include drivers, marksmen, signal operators and diary recorders.

For the soldiers and noncommissioned officers, this meant the acquiring 900 AR-180B Rifles and the M1911A1 Pistol for the officers. Surplus US Army clothing, tents, and ALICE Gear were also obtained and issued. The Special Operational Combat Force is also issued the V-42 Stiletto. The Followers of Ron Paul

The Followers of Ron Paul (FRP) is the paramilitary security branch of the Libertarian Party; the FRP has two distinct areas of responsibility:

• Protective roles, ensuring the safety of current party members, such as the Libertarian National Committee Chairman, Members of the Libertarian National Committee, Senate Majority and Minority Leaders, and Libertarian leaders of the United States House of Representatives.

• Intelligence roles, conducts foreign and domestic counter-intelligence, intelligence gathering, and countersubversion operations.

• Punitive roles, conduct all punitive actions against their opponents

The group was first formed in 2000, a small permanent guard unit made up of Libertarian volunteers to provide security for Libertarian Party Leader Congressman Ron Paul in the chaotic aftermath of nuclear strikes. Commanded by James "Bo" Gritz, and known as the Followers of Ron Paul, the original group consisted of eight men and was modeled after the Commander-in-Chief's Guard, a unit of the Continental Army that protected General George Washington during the American Revolutionary War. After the Milgov/Civgov split, FRP was expanded to a 30-man group and given the task of providing personal protection for all Libertarian leaders at functions and events. By the end of the next year, it had over 2,000 members and Ron Paul appointed Richard "Dick" Marcinko as the leader of the FRP, and by the end of 2002, the Followers of Ron Paul had 10,000 members. North's expansion of the FRP was based on models from other groups, such as the Knights Templar and the Green Mountain Boys. Marcinko, together with his right-hand man, Oliver North, consolidated the power of the organization. In 2003, Marcinko gave North the assignment to build an intelligence and security service inside the FRP, which became the Intelligence and Counterintelligence Group (ICIG).

Organization: Under Marcinko, the FRP is regarded as an elite unit, the party's "Praetorian Guard", with all FRP personnel selected on the principals, beliefs, and loyalty to the Libertarian Party. The FRP consists of 500 six-man teams, which are organized in terms of military ranking system. The teams are composed of volunteers who are former police and armed forces members who have specialized police/military experience. Each unit known as "district security teams," provides security for the party in an assigned geographical area. FRP also provides additional support to the Republican political party through the following special support groups:

• The Intelligence and Counterintelligence Group (ICIG): Focuses on gathering intelligence for the Party and is made up former member of the US Intelligence Community. They have compiled lists of left-wing journalists and activists. They also have excellent relations with the several police departments, including their police commissioners. Currently the group is composed of 20 members and is based some in West Virginia.

• The Canine Explosives Detection Unit: Provides skilled and specialized explosives detection support. Currently the group is composed of 20 members and is based some in West Virginia.

• Special Reaction Team (SRT): akin to Police SWAT units. They are armed with helmets and shields, gas masks, tear gas launchers, assault rifles, and bulletproof vests. SRT personnel receive specialized, advanced training and must maintain a high level of physical and operational proficiency. This unit also has links with the Special Operational Combat Force (SOCF), several former Posse Comitatus members, mercenaries and private military companies. Currently the group is composed of 50 members and is based some in West Virginia.

The National Rifle Association Forces

The National Rifle Association Forces (NRAF) refers to National Rifle Association Militia units, which are active in the United States since the Milgov/Civgov split. General John Shalikashvili used it as a formal name for the National Rifle Association Militia units. The change in designation of these groups to NRAF occurred as US's status changed from that of an occupied nation to one of a nation being liberated by the American Forces. As regions of US were liberated, the NRAF were more formally organized into light infantry units and served as a valuable manpower addition to regular US forces. In this role, the NRAF units man less active areas of the front lines, allowing regular US army units to practice economy of force measures and mass their troops in decisive areas of the front. After Operation Omega, at the request of the National Rifle Association, General John Shalikashvili placed about 200,000 resistance fighters under command of Brigadier General Othar Shalikashvili, who is attempting to unify resistance efforts against the Mexican.

Organization: The NRAF are mostly composed of National Rifle Association members who used their own weapons, although many NRAF units included former US soldiers. They used civilian clothing and were an armband with the letters "N.R.A.F." Currently NRAF units are seizing bridges, liberate of villages and towns as US units neared, and collect intelligence on Mexican units in the areas entered by the US forces, easing the US advance through Southwest. Subsequent to the liberation of areas where NRAF units operated, they often rformed battalions and brigades named for their commanders or region of origin (Amarillo Battalion, etc.) These NRAF units are light infantry, although some formed light reconnaissance units like the US 27th Cavalry Regiment.

Equipment: The weapons and equipment of the NRAF are highly varied. Because they are not units that the US Military can logistically support, they were not eligible to receive the standard U.S. equipment that was provided to US regular army units. Thus, the NRAF units often will cloth themselves in non-standard uniforms or uniforms of 1970-80’s vintage. The same condition existed with weapons, with the use of captured Mexican infantry weapons a common practice. Because of the mix of American, Soviet, Mexican, and other weapons, the supply of ammunition and spare parts is complicated and often difficult to accomplish. Some armoured fighting vehicles have been obtained, notably In other cases, NRAF units used vehicles no longer favoured by US forces, such as the M151A1C MUTT, a Light Utility Vehicle with a 106 mm recoilless rifle on a pedestal-mount. Finally, civilian vehicles and practically anything else in running condition are pressed into service and used until they could no longer be maintained.

Dominion of Canada Rifle Association (DCRA)

The Dominion of Canada Rifle Association was founded in 1868 and founded in 1868 and incorporated by an Act of Parliament, to promote and encourage the training of marksmanship throughout Canada. The passage of this Act was prompted by the imminent departure of the British Garrisons, who had all left by 1871, and by the then recent experience of the Fenian Raids which had occurred in 1866 against Canadian territory. The Association at that time brought together thirty three independent rifle associations and the Governor General, his Excellency Viscount Monck accepted the role of Patron of the Association, a position held to this day by the current Governor General. In excess of 900 competitors turned up to compete for $5,500 in prize money. The DCRA has continued to hold prize meetings every year since, except during the two World Wars.

In 1957 the Canadian Army introduced the FNC1 as the military rifle. DCRA members were entitled to borrow these firearms from DND for competition purposes in the Service Rifle matches. The .303 continued to be the firearm utilized for target rifle competitions. In the mid 1970's the military staff at the National Defence Headquarters decided to take over the conduct of the military Service Rifle competition. This arrangement lasted for about four years when DND approached the DCRA to again take responsibility for the conduct of the Service Rifle matches. This arrangement prevailed until the late 1980's when the Army staff again took control of the Service Rifle matches. Since that time the Canadian Forces Small Arms Competition (CFSAC) and the DCRA National Service Arms Competition (NSAC) have been conducted conjointly.

Organization: The DCRA is composed of 10 Provincial Rifle Associations, the Yukon Rifle Association and the National Capital Region Rifle Association. All Provincial and Territorial Associations are affiliated with the DCRA and utilize DCRA rules and standards in their competitions. The management structure of the DCRA consists of a President, Executive Vice President a Council, a Comptroller, an Executive Committee, Life Governors and an Executive Director with a small staff who are located at the DCRA Headquarters at the Connaught Ranges in Ottawa.

Legion of Frontiersmen

The Legion of Frontiersmen is a paramilitary group formed in Britain in 1905 in the days when the British Empire was at its height by Roger Pocock, a former constable with the North-West Mounted Police and Boer War veteran, with its roots firmly set in another era, to bolster the defensive capacity of the British Empire. Prompted by pre-war fears of an impending invasion of Britain, the organisation was founded as a field intelligence corps on a romanticised conception of the "frontier" and imperial idealism. Headquartered in London, branches of the Legion of Frontiersmen were formed throughout the empire to prepare patriots for war and to foster vigilance in peacetime. Despite persistent efforts, the Legion never achieved much official recognition. Except for a brief resurgence in the interwar period, a series of schisms and sectarianism prevented attempts to reinvigorate the movement. Various Legion of Frontiersmen groups still exist throughout the Commonwealth, but as a whole, it has been unable to define its niche in the post-imperial world. In the late 1930s, the Legion of Frontiersmen was formally affiliated with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, but after a schism split the Canadian Frontiersmen, the RCMP severed formal ties. The Legion is still without any formal recognition. In the chaotic aftermath of nuclear strikes, the Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Joseph Philip Robert Murray suggested that the RCMP be expanded via the recruitment of Legion of Frontiersmen.

Organization: The Legion of Frontiersmen is nominally part of the RCMP, but actually operated more or less independently in rural areas. Divided into battalions, each about two hundred strong, heavily armed and highly mobile, they operated in six provinces, mostly in the northwest and south, where marauder activity is greatest. They were either RCMP uniforms or old army uniforms with appropriate police badges, along with the distinctive campaign hat. They are commanded by Reserve Chief Superintendent William J. S. Elliott, a Deputy Commissioner of the Canadian Coast Guard. The Legion of Frontiersmen Battalions is used as mobile striking and raiding forces, they also assists in general duties such as public security, crowd control, and defence operations. All personnel are drawn from Legion of Frontiersmen and are inducted into RCMP Depot Division in Regina, before graduating to the battalions. There are currently seven divisions located from British Columbia to Ontario and in Nova Scotia. Every division is headed by RCMP Police Superintendent. No. 1 Division based in British Columbia is composed of four battalions. There are a total of twelve battalions split into three divisions in western Canada, eight battalions based in Ontario and with four in Nova Scotia. The No. 6 Division; Quebec, North West/Central and No. 7 Division; Quebec, East Central/South East are been disbanded in wake of Quebec Independence. The western Canadian divisions possess one RCMP squadron.

The Texas Syndicate (or Syndicato Tejano)

The Texas Syndicate (or Syndicato Tejano) is a mostly Texas-based Hispanic prison gang. The Texas Syndicate, unlike La Eme or Nuestra Familia, has been more associated or allied with Mexican immigrant prisoners, known as "border brothers", while La Eme and the NF tend to be more composed of US-born/raised Hispanics. It was established in the 1970s at Folsom Prison in California in direct response to the other California prison gangs, which were attempting to prey on native Texas inmates. Los Zetas cartel has been known to hire US gangs such as the Texas Syndicate and MS-13 to carry out contract killings. As of 2000, some minority reports claim the Texas Syndicate had about 19,000 members in prisons and jails state-wide with more on the outside, however such numbers are often inflated and include inmates only marginally connected with the gang as well as ex-cons, most of whom do not remain actively involved.

Organization: Around 8,126 Hispanic members operate in Austin, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley and the Dallas Fort Worth area in Texas, including controlling the cites of Tyler and Wichita Falls Texas. However, they still maintain their headquarters in California, and have been encountered in Oakdale, Louisiana and in San Quentin, California with frequency. TS has a paramilitary structure, headed by a local chairman and vice chairman. Beneath them in the gang hierarchy are captains, lieutenants, sergeants of arms, and numerous soldiers.

Atholl Highlanders

The name Atholl Highlanders dates to the formation of the 77th Regiment of Foot by the 4th Duke in 1777. The regiment was formed as a relief for other regiments serving in North America, and spent most of its existence in Ireland. More than 50 years later, in 1839; the 6th Duke, resurrected the regiment; as his personal bodyguard. In recognition of the service that the regiment provided during Queen Victoria visits to Perthshire, the Queen announced that she would present the Atholl Highlanders with colours, thus giving the regiment official status.

Under the 7th Duke, the regiment regularly provided guards for royal visitors to Blair Castle (which was a convenient stopping point on the journey to Balmoral). The regiment also attended the Braemar Gathering, while an annual gathering in which the regiment paraded. Following the First World War, parades of the regiment became fewer, although it did provide guards when the Crown Prince of Japan and King Faisal of Iraq visited Blair Castle in 1921 and 1933 respectively. After 1933, there was little activity, and it seemed the regiment would disappear into obscurity until, in 1966, it was reformed by the 10th Duke, who made the decision to revive the regiment's annual parade. It was feared that the regiment would be disbanded following his death in 1996, until his successor, the 11th Duke, wrote to the estate trustees insisting that he would continue his traditional role. Up until the Twilight War, the Atholl Highlanders was a purely ceremonial regiment, of approximately 100 men, including pipes and drums.

Shortly after the start of the Twilight War the 11th Duke of Atholl, placed the regiment at the disposal of Ministry of Defence for the remainder to use as they see fit. The Ministry of Defence promptly made the regiment a Home Service Force company of The Fife & Forfar Yeomanry/Scottish Horse, gaining the new title The Fife & Forfar Yeomanry/Scottish Horse; “J” Company (Atholl Highlanders), HSF. In this capacity it served until the creation Royal Scottish Army, at which point it became a militia unit of the Scottish republic.

Organization: The Atholl Highlanders is militia infantry battalion and has a Headquarters Company, Support Company, and three Rifle Companies (A, B and C Companies). Each company is commanded by a Major, with a Captain as 2IC. The HQ company contains signals, quartermaster, administration, training, and operations elements. The support company contains, machine gun, pioneer and reconnaissance platoons.

Ehre von deutschem Demokratisch Republik Militärischer Dienst Vereinigung (The Honour of German Democratic Republic Military Service Association)

The Honour of German Democratic Republic Military Service Association (HGDRMSA) also known as Friedrich Engels Brigade (German: Ehre von deutschem Demokratisch Republik Militärischer Dienst Vereinigung) is a German volunteer paramilitary unit, founded and led by former East German Generaloberst Fritz Streletz.

After German reunification and disestablished armed forces of the German Democratic Republic of the in 1990, most of the NVA's 36,000 officers and NCOs were let go, including all officers above the rank of lieutenant colonel. Only 3,200 were retained by the Bundeswehr after a demotion of one rank. With many former NVA officers feeling bitter about their treatment after unification, by receiving only minimal pensions, and able only to find jobs except as labourers or security guards; Generaloberst Fritz Streletz; former Chief of Staff of the National People's Army, created HGDRMSA on October 11, 1990. Starting off with 20 members, the association grew to force of 10,000 members by 1996.

After war broke out in Germany, members of HGDRMSA were also ordered by Streletz to join the 21st Guards Motor Rifle Division (Nationale Volksarmee), which he was made commander of, against the NATO Forces. HGDRMSA members fought in various locales in Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia, with Streletz personally led most of war actions, and rewarded his most efficient officers and soldiers with ranks, medals and eventually the products of the lootings. In the aftermath of the war Streletz re-established the HGDRMSA as armed militia to supplement his loyalist forces.

Organization: HGDRMSA has set up their headquarters and training camp in a former military facility in Prora on Rügen Island and is active in the federal-state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. HGDRMSA consists of over 11,200 personnel, including 2,500 officers, 8,735 NCOs and enlisted men divided among three regiments.

Muneris of Notitia Obses (Office of Information Security)

The Office of Information Security (Latin: Muneris of Notitia Obses), or the “Vatican Intelligence Service,” was created to protect Catholic properties and interests from both sides in the Twilight War. The Vatican Intelligence Service is a well-compartmentalized into its many cover organizations conveniently subdivided by their religious activities that afford the Holy See the advantages over any other intelligence service.

Organization: The strategically important service is the responsibility of the Jesuits. The Jesuits manage all intelligence-gathering functions for the Vatican. Information gathering takes place under the guise of very conventional missionary activity, a non-governmental charity work, seemingly innocent purchase of a government's archives. The external and hands-on operations are also performed by the Dominican Order. The order uses its international resources to exfiltrate its agents, to discredit undesirable officials, and other cloak and dagger operations. Its other low-profile department is the Sodalitium Pianum, i.e. Fellowship of Pius (X), which is responsible for internal security, taking care of the Vatican's own heretics, and vetting out Vatican's security apparatus.
