I've been thinking about this and that, having random thoughts (like I usually do), and at one point a few minutes ago, I wondered, Can the .38 Dardick round (or Tround) be considered a sabotted round for T2K weapon generation purposes?

I rather doubt it.
The Tround is at its most basic just a very fancy cartridge. The actual bullet is nothing more than the standard form that we all know and love as far as I have seen.
The adaptors that I've seen is basically a way to sleeve a standard cartridge into the tround so that they can be used in pistols built for the tround.
Of course, This is based on memory thats more than a few decades old. :)

I'd say no because the sabot is generally surrounding the projectile to allow a smaller projectile to be fired from a larger bore (with all the benefits etc. etc. of that).
As I understand it, the tround casing works exactly the same way as a standard cartridge case and has no part to play in how the projectile interacts with the barrel.
By the way, I found this interesting pic of the trounds on an auction site. Unfortunately being an auction site it won't stay online for very long :(
