Canadian Army 05-07-2008, 08:15 PM Recently I surfing the net and happen to come upon a book called the Call Sign Book for Ships. It would be useful for all those interested in Twilight 2000 Naval Campaign. Printed in 1996 by the Allied Communications Publications (ACP) under The Combined Communications-Electronics Board (CCEB); a board comprising five member nations, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom and United States and is the Sponsoring Authority for all ACPs. ACPs are raised and issued under common agreement between the member nations. In the book has a complete list of all navy and in some cases army ships for the following countries:


Australia Defense Force Ships

Belgium Naval Ships

Canada Naval Ships

Denmark Naval Ships

Federal Republic of Germany Naval Ships

France Naval Ships

Greece Naval Ships

Italy Naval Ships

Malaysia Naval Ships

Netherlands Naval Ships

Norway Naval Ships

Philippines Naval Ships

Portugal Naval Ships

Spain Naval Ships

Thailand Naval Ships

Turkey Naval Ships

United Kingdom Naval Ships

United Kingdom Ships under Naval Control

United States Army Ships

United States Coast Guard Ships

United States Coast Guard Miscellaneous Assignments

United States National Oceanographic and Administrative Fleet

If any one is interested in reading or getting a copy of the book, please post a reply on this thread and I try to post the book (I don’t know if I can since the book is 224 pages long and 765 KB, but I will try.)

Grimace 05-09-2008, 06:55 AM When I tried to DL and open it I got the message: "This file is damaged and cannot be opened". Did anyone else get this? I'm interested in seeing what this file has.

Re-download it. PDFs have long been known for their ability to get messed up during the download process. (BTW, they're even more likely to get screwed up when they are emailed -- you should always ZIP your PDFs before emailing them, even if that makes the emailed file larger.)
