This might be a fun place to work into a CONUS-based campaign, assuming, that is, that it survives the TDM.

Imagine, if you will, a local warlord or militia commander who manages to avail him/herself of this museum's impressive stock and whose troops are outfitted in historical uniforms and equipped with 18th, 19th, and early 20th century weaponry.

I'm so stoked to share it with y'all that I didn't do any research on it. So, I'm not sure that it would exist in the earlier T2K timelines.

Absolutely magnificent. May the artifacts stored within that facility remain safe for as long as there are humans to appreciate them.

I'm afraid I can't agree with the author's assertion that "the crown jewel of the collection is the 16,000 pieces of fine art the army owns." :D I appreciate art and all, but I reckon I'd find artifacts in there that interested me a hell of a lot more than paintings.

It's neat but I'm not seeing a single useful (in T2k) item there. Muzzle-loaded rifles dating back to the Civil War? Yeah, no, I'd rather rely on hand-reloaded AR (or even shotgun) rounds. Punt guns? Same.
