View Full Version : Been gone for a bit
Hi all.
I've been gone off this forum for a while. I've gotten my 4th edition of the Morrow Project and have started to run game. I have borrowed the basic premise from a Twilight 2000 module but have embelished it. So for those who have the 4th edition, how do you like it? Thanks.

I just got mine. So I haven't been able to read it much yet.
Not sure I am keen on the asteroid. That is an extinction level event that is going to re-write the geography for the whole of the Pacific Rim.

I'm leaving it out myself. The nukes are sufficient.

Has anyone gotten their 4e book at their Friendly local gaming store, or are these all online orders. I like to support my FLGS whenever possible, but as of a few weeks ago they had not even heard of the new edition of MP.

Ordered my direct from Timeline Ltd.
I don't even know where my local gaming (rpg) store is here.

I have one store within a mile which peripherally supports rpgs (they are more of a board/card game store). Chicago is large enough to support a very large RPG/Miniatures store, but that one is not local (about 20 miles away). As of 2 weeks ago neither had heard of 4e MP so I may look online soon.
edit
figured i would support the big store with a crosslink

Well I have gotten my copy and have started running a campaign with my gaming group. Borrowed the idea from a Twilight 2000 module (Allegheny Uprising), greatly modified for my purposes.

My local game store, (read gaming addition fix) has not heard of 4th ed. yet. Mine came from Timeline because of crowd funding event.
My $0.02

Kickstarter edition is how I have mine, even have the PDF.
I have gotten my, plus a mail order second copy. This allows me to have a copy and the players to look up things to a point. I've also scanned and copied a couple of pages to make a GM screen for me to use (the Encounter chart and Damage locations). A darn site easier for me!
