So I stumbled across this pdf when searching online for the weights of various types of military boot - I never did find that info but anyway...
It's a list of issued items and their prices (although it has no weights or size info as such) for the US Army and while it's for the 21st century the list still includes some 1980s-1990s items and it's also useful for other forces using US military gear.

Edit: And I meant to mention that one of the reasons it's so useful is because it includes pictures of almost every item.

CTA-50.......... Includes instructions on what clothing and equipment is authorized for a given location. i.e. climate.

tm 10-227 fitting of uniforms.... The section on shoes and boots and how to check for fit is helpful, if you didn't already know.
