Re-reading Escape from Kalisz and reading all the threads from here I can't get a clear indication as the OOB for the 256'th Brigade?
From some notes I have from 20 years ago I have the 3/11 Inf and the 1/61 Inf belonging to the unit but I can't find any indication of what Armor unit was part of the Brigade.
Thanks for any help (and if you can clarify the source you used.)

There's some discussion of the original scenario and 5th ID's OOB here:

256th was a Louisiana National Guard infantry brigade. Per the somewhat sketchy Wikipedia entry (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/256th_Infantry_Brigade_Combat_Team_%28United_State s%29) (consider the source carefully):
Until 2006, the 256th Brigade was a "heavy" brigade that consisted of 2 mechanized infantry battalions (2nd & 3rd Battalions, 156th Infantry Regiment) each equipped with 44 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, 1 armor battalion (1st Battalion, 156th Armored Regiment) equipped with 44 Abrams Main Battle Tanks, and a self-propelled artillery battalion (1st Battalion, 141st Artillery Regiment) that was equipped with (18) 155 mm howitzers.

Thanks Tey... I also used the 5'th Division Reorganized and it kind of matches what you found.
256th Brigade is composed of 1-156 Armor, 2-156 Infantry and 3-156 Infantry.

If you look on the wiki page there's a breakdown diagram there. I used to have link to an association page that had more information but can't find it now.

I do not know about the 256th Infantry Brigade. But back in the early 90's I was in the WA Guard 81st Infantry Brigade, we had two tank battalions (303AR, 803AR), two infantry battalions (1-161Inf, 3-161Inf), one engineer battalion (898Eng), one artillery battalion (2-146FA), one support battalion (181 support), one cavalry troop (E-303), one mash (C-med), one transportation company (1140 tran I think), one MP platoon, one Stinger platoon, and the BDE headquarters. Over the years they have been reduced to now they have one Special Troops Battalion, one Infantry Battalion, one Cavalry (Armor) Squadron, one Artillery battalion, one support battalion and the BDE headquarters. Also the word now is that they are going to get rid of the tanks and go with strikers. As for the numbers I do not know for sure now, but when I was in each tank battalion had four companies of 14 tanks (three four tank platoons with two tank command section), and a two tank command section at the battalion headquarters for a total of 58 tanks. I was told that the infantry had the same number of tracks.
