Sort of.

A recent study has found that those exposed to wartime violence are more cooperative and trustful than those who aren't. Other studies over the past decade show this odd outcome.

well it's not terribly odd when you really think about it. in many of these situations others had provided some assistance to those who survived. be these others neighbors, bystanders, or even complete strangers. nothing ever happens in a vacuum and even in the most horrific situations some will almost always react selflessly. while survivors of these events have seen some of the worst that humanity can offer they have also seen and sometimes even benefited from examples of humanities best. when exposed to that stark contrast it's natural that people would look for the best in those they encounter and try to emulate it themselves.

The reason for the original post was to make T2K GMs aware that survivors in a war-torn town might not have the mindset they expect they would.
