Hello Folks,
I recently received an email regarding a demo of Fantasy Grounds 2. While I am not currently moving in that particular direction (running a campaign Twilight 2000 game) right at this moment, I had one person named Damocles inquire, so I figure let's do a quickie survey asking "who wants a quickie Demo of GURPS Twlight 2000" in Fantasy Grounds?"

It won't be a full "run" so much as perhaps a single shot scenario so that people can get an idea of what it would be like to run a full scale campaign long term.

For what it is worth, I'm currently unemployed, and I have no real issue with time zones at this point in time, simply because I figure even if I can't "GM" the campaign, someone who gets to see what it can be like, might be willing to take the plunge themselves and purchase a GM package for themselves, and then run a campaign for those people in their own time zone or near time zone periods.

As best as I can figure - if it is 7 PM 11/7/2016 now, it is 1 AM 11/8/2016 in Warsaw (Warszawa). If I'm doing the math right, someone who wants to game at 6 PM Warsaw time, I'd have to be running the game at approximately 11 AM my time.

Anyone else interested in the demo, should probably comment in this thread.

At present, I'm not OVERLY conversant with the use of maps within the game, having used it mostly for verbal gaming rather than tabletop miniatures gaming. That having been said, I would likely need some time to get a map to import into FG2, then test it out, and then see how well it would function when it comes time for the demo.

So, putting it mildly, this is not something I can move quickly on, but I can attempt to get something to target for within the next say, 2 weeks.

I prefer Roll20
nothing to download or purchase.

The GM running the session is the only one who has to purchase a game system or install one of the free "community driven" game systems. I gave up on D&D third edition, tried for a VERY short time 3.5 and never returned to the D20 series. We've used GURPS largely for the most part, since 1986. If they (the community) had created a Twilight 2000 rules set, I'd use that instead. So, the only "demo" I can run will be using GURPS - as I don't have anything in the way of D20 Modern or anything else D20 for that matter. Truth be told, if anyone who wants to run the Demo using D20 instead, is more than welcome to do. :)

I'm just not equipt to handle it.

Hi Titus,
I wouldn't be able to play using T2K rules or D20 rules. I'd only be able to use GURPS in the T2K universe basically.

I have a full Fantasy Grounds lic that allows me to host games with any number of free clients. I wouldn't mind showing anyone what it's all about if you were interested.

keeping in mind that Fantasy Grounds does not actually support the T2K ruleset and people are just using the default ruleset for something like d20.

Another Fantasy Grounds user and I were thinking of implementing the T2K rules (Fantasy Grounds can be extended programmatically), but holding off until the newer version comes out.

I've only used it to host D&D 5e.

Just found out that T2K can be played using either of theses rulesets on Fantasy Grounds: CoreRPG or MoreCore Rulesets
