Has anyone ever pulled together the limited canon information about the Balkans region in the T2k setting? I'm considering setting up a game based in the region and I wondered if there were any shortcuts that I could make use of.
Thanks for any help.

I had put this together literally 25 years ago from canon sources:
Yugoslavia: 2000 (http://theworld.com/~Ted7/yugonote.htm)
It lists troop locations, and some more detailed notes I devised for Yugoslavia.
Somewhere I had a scenario that had the PCs heading south from Poland getting into Gen. Mad Milo Coleman's good graces by stealing an M5 Stuart or an M8 Greyhound from the Zadar militia to present to him (there was also a Merc: 2000 version, where you stole it and a ferry to bring to a collector in Italy.)
One of the Last Submarine campaign modules described Romania.

Thanks for this. Very interesting and useful.
I think that the game I'm working on will have to be very non canon!

I didnt know you wrote that writeup on the Balkans - have you ever thought of getting it put together as an official release? That was a very good piece of writing and very informative

FYI there is also a Challenge Magazine article about Albania
Challenge 47 - its called Our Friend Albania - you might want to check it out - it has information on Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro
