Robin Sage is a US Special Forces exercise that involves what is essentially LARP'ing and world-building (the fictional setting, "Pineland", is a thinly-veiled iteration of rural America). It's been held annually for the last 60 years or so.

Robin Sage could provide ammunition for Refs running a CONUS-set campaign, especially if the OPFOR is something like New America.
