Hi folks. I have a couple of vacancies in my T2K "Pirates of the Vistula" campaign on RPOL. If you're looking for more T2K, we'd love to have you. Several posters here are players over there.

http://rpol.net/game.cgi?gi=24452&date=1246503201

The following NPCs (formerly PCs) are in need of players.

Alexei Ondar- Taciturn, ex-Soviet commando with a very personal grudge against the Red Army.

Jason Kasparov- Conflicted ex-CIA helicopter pilot and recent partisan with unrequited feelings for Minh (a female, Vietnamese-American PC).

Dave "Bones" Stoner- Good humored, ballsy SEAL corpsman and bullet magnet.

Jan Cerny- Cooly profesional FFL noncom.

Tom Jones- British (Welsh?) soldier. This is a relatively new character so there's lots of room to build his personality.

If you'd like to play but would rather create your own PC, that's fine too but it'll take a little more work on your part (char-gen, backstory, incorporation, etc.).

Post-rate is usually 2-3 turns per week.

Unfortunately the way this forum system works the [pre] tag is an impossibility to implement. Trust me I have wanted one. You can use instead. it changes the look but keeps the formatting. see it looks like this

I would like to play, but it's been forever and a year since i used the 2.2 system and not sure if i could create a character correctly... heck, i'm still using the 1.0 system as well as d20 modern right now.

I think our preference (speaking for Major Anneka Soleblume) is to take on one of the existing characters. We've had quite a turnover of characters in the past couple of years (only three original characters left and one player), and as the game has only moved on a couple of weeks, it's felt like a revolving door.

We do try and maintain a semi-formal rank structure but that's not to say everyone doesn't have a say - the officers basically give a general direction and we move on from there.

Rae's a great writer and we've had some awesome posts from him as well as having been put through some extremely tough situations.

I can't right now. However, with a couple of friends we are playing EU2 using "skype group talking". We will be trying the skype group talking for RPG over next fall (I let you know how it works).

If you're willing to take over one of the current NPCs I've mentioned, you won't have to worry at all about char-gen. It's already taken care of.

I'm not really that comfortable taking over someone elses character... it makes me feel like i'm not playing the character on the same level that the previous player or games master character had been prior to my taking over for the character...

Understood.

Looks like your own campaign is starting to pick up steam. Good luck with it.

I have a PC idea I will toss at you if you don't mind. I haven't even seen a 2.2 ed other than a picture on ebay but if I send the info to you I am sure you will get the idea of what he is all about and like it. I am working two jobs until Tuesday so maybe Wednesday I should be able to sit down and get it down.
