Hi everyone,

As the title says... Unorthodox Character Concepts you'd like to play due to the Role-Play opurunities they present...

I have had the concept for a character for years, but didn't get to play it since my gaming group had disapeared...

A soldier who finds a woman who is near death and her 2 month old child. The woman begs the solider to take their child, and care for it as if it was their own. As it is with my ideas, i can find them showing up else where as if someone had been stealing peaks at my notebooks... The Marvel Comicbook character "Nomad" for instance who was travelling around the country with baby 'bucky' in tow (she rode in style in that bulletproof baby sling/backpack). One of the issues actually had Nomad changing the baby'd diaper during combat, and he used the dirty diaper as a weapon by throwing it in one of the badguys face... dirty end first! I remember it, because it was so amazing that it had gotten past the Comics Code Authority!

Here's an NPC I made up for a never staarted campaign.

Sam Kelley, a 16 year old Polish American boy. His father was an American professor from Berkely Ca, his mother a Polish immigrant. The family was in Poland at the start of the war, father doing research for a history book, mom visiting relatives. Both parents get killed in the war, and Sam is looking to link up with some American soldiers to go back to the US.

I designed Sam to be mostly an interpeter in case the players didn't have a character with Polish. His father was a pacifist, so Sam has no training in firearms. He does have a slingshot and some decent hunting type skills.
