A small step backwards. I had to delete the User "Jessie" as it was a sleeper agent PM spammer bot.

A warning, the spammers are getting more creative and in some cases using humans to get past registration and then passing the job of spamming off to a robot. I caught it this time because I was watching the server logs, but I apologize in advance if any spam gets through.

Two old friends wandered into our camp in the past few days.
Brother in Arms and Graebarde just wanted to welcome them again.

Also killed a spetnaz infiltrator (human spam registrant) named blakestore just after they made it over the wire. Luckily no shots were fired in the camp ;)

Thanks Kato for giving me a heads up. I've been off the T2K radar pretty much for the past year plus for various excuses in RL. Glad to be back.

Overall I am very pleased with how our ranks are filling out. We have 82 members in 82 days and our all inclusive (back to townhall) MIA/MPL list is now down to 81.

Still concerned about some missing members (most notably Webstral). But I am sure he and a few others will join us eventually. We will keep a light on for them.

Saw a mention in another thread and figure I'd post here, since it applies more for this thread. I spoke with Radar (Will) a couple weeks back. I told him of this site but he's going through a rough spot right now. I guess he got whalloped by the storm that hit Texas (hurricane...what was it...Ivan?) and a few other things.

So he's still kicking, he just doesn't have the time or internet access or security of home that he used to. I think once things settle down for him, whenever that will be, he'll be popping up on our radar. (excuse the pun)

That's the sitrep for him.

Thanks for the sitrep. I was worried that Ike had hit Radar hard. Please give him my best wishes and assure him everything will be here when he comes back.

On another note, after reading a few of Akula's posts on T2013 boards he was recovering from surgery. Hopefully he will have a speedy recovery and be back with us soon.

Not really as long as it is not excessive. Technically any link out of a site lowers that site's Google ranking but I am not worried since my ranking is pretty high on the search terms I am concerned with. As long as you have the same attitude about my or others posting links to my site on 93GS I'm cool with it.

I'm totally fine with that, though it's ultimately Keith's decision. Not trying to dodge the issue, but he is the one who runs the server and writes the checks. :cool:

Kevin O'Neill is also known as ReHerakhte. Seems he's still kicking around, so hopefully now that we know some of his haunts we can track down an email and let him know about this place.

So while he doesn't know yet, if we can find some way to contact him, we can move him up from the MIA list.

He's registered on the 93GS board but hasn't posted since Jan 06.

Right, hasn't posted to some of these places, but obviously still kicking because he posted a review of the Twilight: 2013 game not too long ago.

Hopefully we can catch him somewhere.

Regarding ReHerakhte, we/I can find him. He was at RPGhost Dec 5th of this year. I thought I PMed him there, but I may have missed him. I have an ICQ number and I will continue search for an email. I also pmed him at a site where he was active in November. Fingers Crossed.

I feel stupid at forgetting that Kevin O'Neill is ReHerakhte. He lives (or lived) in the same city as me but we've never met in person.

I've got Kevins phone number somewhere. I gamed with him and John, aka "jtr" throughout 06.
Last contact I had with him was a mass email he sent out in late 07 apologising to all his friends for dropping off the radar. 07 sounded like a very bad year for him from what was in that email. I replied but he didn't and that was the last contact I've had. I no longer have an email addy for him as I've had a system crash since and lost all my contacts on the re-install (ought to have a backup of contact list but don't).

I'll dig out his phone number and give him a Merry Christmas call and mention this place, we'll see what happens...

Quite an influx. Pretty cool.

We did have two human registrant spambots while I was gone, but their goal was only to provide weblinks in their profile (to increase google rankings) so no real damage done. They were of course terminated.

I'm here...I just lurk mostly, that's all.

Well thanks for registering and coming out of the shadow. I do feel good everytime someone comes off the MIA list.
