Where are you ?

Wondering where my fellow posters hail to....

kato13 10-14-2008 01:10 AM

North America :D

Mohoender 10-14-2008 01:15 AM

Southern France. Not too far from Marc.

Kato how do I modify my registerring to put up a location? please.

Targan 10-14-2008 01:19 AM

I live in the most isolated State capital in the world. Perth, Western Australia. Between me and any other State capital is thousands of kilometers of desert and to the west there is just ocean until you hit Madagascar.

User CP (top left) -> Edit Profile -> Location

kato13 10-14-2008 01:31 AM

I might make a map for everyone's location at some point. I am actually considering building a voluntary demographics study to help me with stuff like usage rates, location, browser, age, etc. Plus some of our current polls.

It is probably about 6 weeks down the line. (edit. boy did i miss that estimate rofl 1st of the year at the earliest)

Marc 10-14-2008 03:03 AM

You two can not live in proximity, no good will ever come of it and I fear for the world! I think I'll initiate a UN resolution to take the matter up.

jester 10-14-2008 11:02 AM

Riverside, California, about 50 miles outside of Los Angeles. Put it this way, open up "The City of the Angles" campaign and I am along the march route out of the mountains as you head into the city.

Or for you military buffs, March Air Base is 10 miles away, or the Weapons Lab of Corona/Norco is about 10 minutes away just across the freeway.

Or I spend half my time in Long Beach, the nearest marina to California State University Long Beach, or for military minded folks, near the former Long Beach Naval Station or current Los Alamitos Joint Forces Center or Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station.

Rainbow Six 10-14-2008 11:11 AM

I currently live in Aberdeen, Scotland (oil capital of Europe), although I'm originally from Edinburgh.

Matt Wiser 10-14-2008 10:58 PM

Dogger 10-15-2008 12:10 AM

Turlock California about 90 miles east of San Francisco right about in the middle of the Central Valley

I'm sitting at the office 6 blocks south of the US Capitol in Washington.
My house is 3/4 mile outside the Beltway in Maryland, north of the city. (Outside the heavy direct blast damage zone from a 1 MT burst over the capitol, well within radiation, firestorm and general bad things range).

Jason, on the other hand, has an apartment in the sweet spot between the White House and the Capitol. Vapor...

Don't ya get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing per the timeline you're just so much radioactive dust? But it also does my heart good knowing the bad guys have so much invested in taking me out whereever I may be :D

I'm not sure if he's active here yet or not. We've been kind of busy on the 2013 boards lately and we also have a fortnightly 2013 campaign starting up in Concord. I'll check in with him and make sure he's up on current events.
