Recent discussions of an updated time line have brought up the subject of player age. I went with birth year rather than age range as that data can become inaccurate over time.

I debated public or private for a long time but I thought private would get a few more results. Anyone who is ok with their date being public please add it.

Well, I'm 1957... Looking at the results so far, I'm nearly all alone at the wrinkly end of the scale.

So in future, I expect some respect from you young whippersnappers!!

You still aren't old enough for that.:) You would have been been born before 1944 may be...;) The only thing you might get is a little more backache while sitting in front of your computer.:D

'68. I read the T2k ads in Dragon during my junior year in high school, we started playing that summer, and I GMed the Poland modules all through my senior year, and got my crew on the boat to the States in time for me to leave for college. I thought it was a marvelous piece of timing.

'64 for me.....Year of the Dragon and all that:) Born that is. I don't want Graebarde to get thinking I was old enough to trudge through stinky, smelly, swamp water looking for Black 'jamas wearing commies.(a member of our hunting group was brown water navy in the delta)

I'm the same as Chico - 1971. Halloween is my birthday. I'm still good to go though, staying really fit (probably my vanity is a great motivator). Just got me a new girlfriend too, she just turned 30 and is soooo cute. I just got back to Perth last night from Melbourne where I spent a week with her. I'm a very happy man.

Same here, except that I was an SMP ROTC/National Guard.

In a way, that sucks. I haven't even had sex since Jan 90.

Don't mind me, I'm just really depressed lately.

No but your generation got sand replaced with mud, Don't really know which is worse. As for the brown waters.. those squids saved my ass more than once. LOVED those PBR (boats and beer ;) )

Cool, another 1966. BTW, got a new job hauling auto parts around. Not glorious when compared to the times I was in IT and accounting but it pays the bills and people are not buying new cars but keeping their old jalopies running. I'm in that crowd too. Mom even saw that in the news where people are keeping their old cars.

I know all about having a stable job that isn't glamorous...I am presently an Assistant Manager at a movie theater. The pay isn't all that bad considering the area where I live, managers are all-but guaranteed 40+ hours/week, and the chances of getting laid-off are extremely slim. Plus it's really low-stress, so my blood pressure is comfortably under control.

October 1961 here. Currently employed as credit manager for an upmarket wine importer in London, my blood pressure isn't doing great in the current economic climate but at least I get to bring home £30+ bottles of wine a few evenings a week.

December 1974, just turned 34 and as a special present it was my weekend to work, we'd 3 sold out concerts and a customer puked on me, all good fun! Work wise, I'm still managing in the students union bar and still enjoying it, even if my boss is a bit of a muppet.

One of the perks I like where I work at is sometimes the company buys lunch and I get a 20% discount on parts. My 1994 Explorer needs a lot of parts, sometimes I think it is sheer will that keeps it going. :D

70 here, a good year my dear :D

As for doing, returning to school and having to take all the junk science courses I avoided the first time, and working in the Emergency Room of the local hospital dealing with more non emergencies than real. On the plus side, the nurses, phlebologists and one of the PA's and some of the EMT girlies make for nice scenery. :D

That's part of what I liked when I was posted to G3 at 2nd ID in Korea -- about a third of the Division HQ was female!
