I had one doctor in the Army jokingly tell me that the leading cause of death is birth.

There's elders and then there are just plain old antiques. Which billet do you fill :D

Targan 01-16-2009 07:37 PM

Happy birthday GP!

And as to you wrinklies, your banter has given me a number of chuckles this morning.

He was just trying to keep my mind off as he set my broken ankle, but it made sense -- if people didn't get born, they wouldn't die...

Thanx Friends.

I had an excellent B-day indeed. I got company from my mom and dad, they drove 400km and had lobster and fou de grace with them. We had an excellent dinner. I served Whiskey (single malt offcourse) and we demolished some bottles of Rosé Wine. So the evening was superb. Last Nite we went to my favourite Restautant in Oslo. (Brasserie France http://www.brasseriefrance.no/)

Apart from that I enjoy all your comments about age and everything.

As Rowan Atkinsons said: I wan't to be young and beatiful, middle aged and rich and ; old -pretending that I'm deaf.

Peace and Love and Roleplay to you all.

regarding repsecting your elders

don't forget my "old" friends I think it's more important that the old respect the young, cuz who are gonna wipe your ass when you're at the retirement home hehe

With my colon problems, that would be quite a chore...:p

JimmyRay73 01-19-2009 01:44 PM

Happy Birthday General! You could always do like me and just claim to be 25 with "X" years of experience. After 10 years I think I've almost got the hang of being 25, but I'll keep working at it for a few more I think...

Nowhere Man 1966 01-19-2009 07:21 PM

Happy Belated Birthday! BTW, I'll be 43 this year. :p
