I was at a wedding once, when I was quietly informed just before, that the wedding party except bride and groom were armed. Just in case the groom's psycho ex-girlfriend crashed the party.

Nothing happened, but I sat near an exit anyway.

That's a Basic Training picture. Judging from the mud, gloves, and goofy glasses, the weapon is just a Rubber Duck M16A2...a training simulation.

The front sight ears aren't big enough and there's no front sight post. She's probably doing bayonet training -- that tends to beat up real M-16s enough that they almost never use real M-16s to do it.

The barrel is too thin too, I am guessing a rubber M16A1
