Raellus 06-04-2008, 02:33 PM At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I live about two miles from a old Titan missile silo. It was imploded and poured over with concrete long ago but the main road out here is still called "Missile Base" road.


There's another one about 10 miles away that was bought and coverted to a subterranian house back in the 70s or 80s.

Although my wife knows I lust after a house with a large basement I think she might decide I had lost my marbles if I announced I had bought one of these.

Yeah! I really hope that the Ruskies (or Ukranians or whoever has the keys) remembered to retarget all of their hundreds of ICBMs. Assuming each missile has several MRVs, I can just imagine some overworked, underpayed conscript missile tech overlooking the one aimed at my back yard...


At least it'll be quick.
