Sailing Ships
 

Webstral 11-23-2003, 07:55 PM I saw "Master and Commander" last night and immediately thought of "Gateway to the Spanish Main". That would make an interesting film! Putting Army types on a sailing ship of old would make for some good opportunities at characterization, I think. After they had become reasonably proficient aboard the Constitution, we could see them make the transition back to seasoned light infantry. Seeing the reaction of the crew and Capt. Christiansen, who by this point would no doubt see the Army types as "senior newbies", would be fun.
