Medical Procedures

Hi Guys.

I wondered how you solve medical procedures in your campaigns, reason I ask is because I find the info in the T2K-book scarce at best.

Example:

Amputation: difficult medical , +1 if anesticia is used etc - strenght check?

So if anyone has made something like a table like this:

Procedure - expertise level* - special equipment - drugs - recoperation time

*=Medical skill nedded for success

That would be a pretty cool idea -- even if wanted to avoid screwing up PCs with realistic wounds (and healing times), it would be cool to be able to toss out in reference to friendly or civilian NPCs. No one ever messed with it last time I ran a T2K game, but if one or more PCs in a group had some higher end medical skills they could get a whole lot of mileage (assistance, information, protection from the other side's patrols, etc) from doing MEDCAP type stuff for locals, even if they were pretty restricted on supplies.
