Read somewhere in a news clip the last couple of days that the US Army is considering to bring the 1st Armored and 1st Mechanizd Divisions back to the States. Due to the oversea deployments and with the appearant stability in Europe there is no need for them to remain there. With the troop drain from the US that Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns represent it is felt by some they would be better to bring them to the US and leave Europe.


Gee next you know we will pull 1st Brigade of 2nd Infantry out of Korea, 3rd Marine Division out of Japan and put the sign up that say keep out and take care of your own damn problems.... 20 years from now those of us still alive will wonder why every pulled out troop out.
